This is my latest European Robin watercolour painting; it should be completed later this week.
A peaceful, sun-drenched hillside unfolds in soft layers of green,
yellow, and crimson in this watercolour painting. In the foreground, a
single cypress tree stands tall and still, its deep green foliage
contrasting with the vibrant wildflowers at its base. Swathes of yellow
blossoms sweep across the mid-ground, leading the eye toward a vivid
band of red flowers that echo the warmth and richness of the Tuscan
earth. Further in the distance, a graceful row of cypress trees lines
the crest of the hill, standing like quiet sentinels beneath a blue sky
