New Year, New Paintings — Birds, Ceramic Mugs & a February Sale

I hope you are well. It has been quite a while since I last updated my blog, so first of all - Happy New Year 2026.

The beginning of this year has been quietly busy for me. I’ve recently settled into a small studio, a fresh space where I can begin (and continue) my art journey with renewed focus. It feels grounding and hopeful. I’m also very grateful to the Bluesky community — thank you for your kind support and encouragement along the way.

There are so many things I’d love to write today, but my brushes are calling — I have five new bird paintings to complete this week:
Eurasian Blue Tit, Puffin in Flight, Kingfisher Preening, Barn Swallows, and Bearded Tit.
They are all such beautiful birds.

Below is a sneak peek of my latest bird painting, a Eurasian Blue Tit, it’s about 95% completed (the photo shown is still from the early stage).

My art prints, premium cotton tees, and ceramic mugs are fulfilled and shipped by my professional printer, Printful, from the nearest fulfillment center. This means customers in the US, UK, and Europe will receive their orders from local US or EU centers.

I’m also happy to accept custom orders and commissions. An A4 painting usually takes about one day to complete, followed by around three days for international delivery by airmail. I normally ship via DHL International, which I’ve found to be efficient and reliable.

My Etsy shop is DeniseWongArts. About ten years ago, I sold original artworks to collectors in the US, Paris, and Australia (in my former old shop). Recently, I’ve also sold some Puffin-themed tees, and a limited-edition Two Puffins art print to a lovely customer in the US — moments like these truly keep me going.
