Puffins watercolour painting

 I'm delighted that I'm working on a new puffin watercolour painting, this time it is a pair of puffins. I started with the background of the puffins - the ground, the grass. It is quite challenging and a wonderful moment as well painting this.

 My first red-crowned cranes watercolour painting is completed! 

The first two (from the left) and the fourth cranes are adult red-crowned cranes, while the third one is a younger crane.

 Hello, it's Thursday morning here.

Returning to the painting, I'm working on the second red-crowned crane now.

Red-crowned cranes

 One of my favourite birds is the red-crowned crane. This is my first red-crowned cranes painting. There would be four red-crowned cranes in this painting, it is on an A3 size paper.

I wish you a good new week ahead. Take care. Tomorrow I will be going out for about four hours in the morning and then I'll be back to my studio to continue to paint. Not sure about the future, I'll just need to keep going, keep painting, sharing and put my trust in the Lord even my heavenly Father. He cares for His people and He is sovereign over all things.

Northern Cardinal (updated)

My first northern cardinal painting is completed.

Mountain blue bird

 I came across this pretty mountain blue bird recently and decided to paint it.

Behind the scene... It is always a bit nervous and excited at the same time whenever I start a new painting. What really keeps me going all these many years of painting animal and especially birds is the original passion that I have since many years ago, and as an animal lover since I was still very small.

Sometimes it's the painting that surprises me... That what watercolour painting does, one never knows. And I have really good brushes that can  create smooth and natural watercolour of the subject.

Nuttall's woodpecker watercolour painting

 This is my latest woodpecker watercolour painting. And it took me a while to find out its name, apparently its name is Nuttall's woodpecker!

This is the painting's initial stage and my little red bird is looking at it with excitement.

The painting is getting more detailed now. The tree branch by now has its bottom layer painted.

 I hope you are well. This is my latest bird painting - an African penguin and it's going for a stroll.

 Today I'm starting a new landscape painting - Scotland landscape painting.

Work-in-progress - Duck in her 200 years old Duck's Bakery

 New illustration of duck in her 200 years old Duck's Bakery...

It is a very old bakery passed down from her grandmother and then from her late mother. Duck loves to bake all sorts of breads and cakes and is a good friend of brown bear and friends.
