This is my latest woodpecker watercolour painting. And it took me a while to find out its name, apparently its name is Nuttall's woodpecker!
This is the painting's initial stage and my little red bird is looking at it with excitement.
The painting is getting more detailed now. The tree branch by now has its bottom layer painted.
